JoliOS is a HTML5 and Linux-based OS which can turn your PC into a brand new cloud device! The JoliOS will bring the JoliCloud on to your desktop. You can add and manage most of your online accounts like Facebook, Google Drive, Instagram, Dropbox, YouTube and Sound Cloud through the JoliCloud dashboard. Most of the apps are cloud based and can be easily downloaded through their own app center. It’s a bit like the Chrome OS but I think it have more features!
The JoliCloud can be accessed through your browser or by installing it separately on your computer. If you are a regular user who spend most of your time on social networks, reading on the net, sending emails and spending most of your time online, you can install the JoliOS on your machine. But if you already have Ubuntu, you can install JoliOS without loosing any of your data. You’ll still have your old desktop (Unity, Gnome or any other) whenever you need it! How is it possible? Well, JoliOS is based on Ubuntu! So, why not install it in pure Ubuntu?

Currently, it’s a bit buggy and slow. You will also see some windows classic styled elements. But they will fix these problems soon. So, what do you think? Is it worth using? Remember if you are a power user, JoliOS won’t fit your needs. But if you need to try it for fun, just do it :)
