For all Google lovers… Google have just released another new service for you… A simple note taking app named Google Keep! Get ready to “Save what’s on your mind”!
Google’s Keep is really simple just like most of their other services. It doesn’t have many fancy features. You can add notes as text, lists, pictures and even as voice recordings. You can set colors to each note to easily group them. To sort the notes, you can simply drag and re-position them. Very simple and clean.
One major issue with Google Keep is that it’s currently available only as a web app and as an Android app. Hope Google will add more platforms in the near future. I also find it difficult to group my notes. The color system is not enough. I think it’s better if they introduce folders or separate groups for this!
I think you know the big elephant Evernote! That’s the king of note taking apps. Evernote is full of features. For people who need many complex features, Google Keep won’t work. But there are some people who refuse Evernote because of its complexity. Those people can try Google Keep because it’s very simple.
It can be simple but it need some more improvements if it need to rise up to challenge the big players. Hope Google will do it soon!
