Ross Mclardy have just prepared a guide on how to use a Nexus 7 to turn your car into a small KITT. Unfortunately, it won’t talk with you like KITT… It won’t make your car indestructible… It won’t turn your car into a self driving vehicle… But it will be fun and of course, it will be very useful if you have a Nexus 7 to spare!
The tablet will be permanently attached to the dashboard. When you switch on the vehicle, the tablet will wake up. The custom launcher will give you a KITT like interface. You can take calls, use google maps to navigate, use the music player, and take advantage of any app installed in the device. KITT accept voice commands. Nexus 7 also accept voice commands! So, you can become a real Micheal!
