Several years ago, we started to giveaway free software keys to our loyal readers. Both our readers and the software vendors loved this. So, we managed to hold a huge number of successful giveaways in the past few years. Today, we are starting a new year and celebrating our anniversary! So, we thought of doing something new… an Amazon Kindle Fire HD Free Giveaway!

Earlier, we gave software keys… This year also we’ll continue these giveaways. But, we are going to do something even better… Starting from this year, we will begin giving away valuable gadgets like Tablets, Phones, Computer Accessories, Laptops, Computers, etc. So, today, we will begin these new gadget giveaways with an Amazon Kindle Fire HD Free Giveaway!

When Amazon first released the Kindle Fire, it managed to become the most popular tablet on the world. Why? Its small, had a lot of power and costs only $199! A high quality tablet for a very cheap price! So, people went for it. They opened a new chapter in the Tablet market. Both Apple and Google felt the impact. So, Google also released a low-cost tablet named Nexus 7. Apple also released the iPad Mini but it’s still too expensive.

So, Amazon again came to the market with their second Android based tablet, Kindle Fire HD! It’s a better and a faster tablet which is based on Android 4.0. Its based on Android but Amazon have done some heavy customizing so its hard to recognize that its Android.

These days, people are starting to drop their PCs for Tablets. They can do almost anything we can do in our PCs (Almost for an average user! Not for people like us!). So, most of us want to lay our hands on a cool tablet. In the Tablet market, these are the top player :

  • Amazon Kindle Fire HD
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 2
  • Apple iPad
  • Google Nexus 7

These are the top most choices you have. If you are concerned about the price and the freedom to do things, you can drop the iPad. The Galaxy Tab is a bit expensive than the other two. The Nexus 7 have better hardware (A Quad-core 1.2 GHz processor and a Nvidia Tegra 3 GPU). The Kindle Fire HD is the next. Both the Kindle Fire HD and the Nexus 7 sell for the same price. But the Kindle Fire have something extra when compared to most of the other Android tablets. It comes with free Amazon Prime which will give you free access to over 180,000 books and over 25,000 popular movies and TV episodes for a full month! Like that, there are more Amazon specific apps and services built into this cool tablet. With the high resolution HD display, you can enjoy these books and videos without any issues.

Earlier, we were unable to read eBooks while on the move or while we are away from home because we can’t put our PC into our pocket. We can’t watch movies, play games, surf the web and do some office work while on the move… Later came the laptops which enabled us to do these things. But still its a bit big and heavy. Then came the smart phones. They are too small to watch movies or to read eBooks. So, the perfect mix came with the name Tablet! It’s the perfect mobile device which can fulfill most of your needs!     I have to deal with ebooks all the time because of my University studies. It will be easy for me to read them with the help of Kindle Fire.     Well it all started with me trying to win an thousand dollar contest so I coud buy one. I really need it for traveling, which we do a lot. While traveling I would use my dad’s tablet but it wasn’t a very good one and had wifi issues. So, I was going too get this tablet, and I saw that I could enter a contest too get it for free!     In my other comment I stated that I was going too get it and why I needed it. When I was going too get a kindle fire I bought it and was expecting it too come. But I got it smashed up, and since I didn’t get insurance I couldn’t refund it. My budget wouldn’t let me get a new one so I saw this contest and had to enter.

    I think this might come in handy for me to manage a large collection of eBooks and the fact that it give me mobility over my laptop which I can travel around my university easily. It is a great device to have especially for student like us. Add to the fact that people nowadays barely buy physical book due to cost and other factor (such as go Green campaign organized by my school to promote healthier environment) therefore having a huge collection of eBook on my laptop is unavoidable.     Ages ago I had one of the first Kindles, an experiment for school. Liked the utility a lot (even though I do like the feel of a paper book). Why do I “need” a Kindle Fire HD? No one really “needs” one, but it would be a great substitute for my iPad in traveling, easier to manage on plane and still with Skype connectivity. It will also let me evaluate whether my 13 year old son should have one or my in-laws can operate to talk to their family all over the country.

    As an Engineering student, i have to both read and write
    various tutorials, lecture notes assignments on daily basis. Using laptop
    answers all i need, however it is cumbersome to carry a laptop to the university
    and back home, so i believe using a tab will ease this pain and support my
    work.

    Also with Kindle fire’s unlimited cloud storage, i can store
    my data (Lecture notes etc…) and access them whenever i need.

    Furthermore, it is a great device to eBook readers like us

    I am disabled with MS and sheurmans Disease and wheelchair bound. My laptop is the lifeline to the outside world for me. But holding my laptop on my knees can be very happy sometimes and its a very very old laptop and very slow.     well why a kindle fire than just any tablet, the screen is bright, colourful and sharp and its light weight and ergonomics should certainly allow us to absorb ourselves in the activity and forget that we are doing it on an electronic device and the battery life is supposed to be almost a dozen hours per charge, haha that would mean being able to relax listening to some music, surfing the web and watching some stand up comedies at the end of the day without having to be bothered about plugging in the charger and last but not least is the Kindle borrowing library!

    I strongly believe that a tablet won’t enhance my professional experience. I study Computer Science, but currently doing no Android related developing.

    But I’d like to give as a present a tablet to my mom. Lately I’ve been thinking that most of the people over 40 are more likely to get accustomed to touch technologies. She would be glad to have an instant access to her social networks, book reading, music listening and surfing all over the internet and don’t bother trying to understand what kind of message pulled out my PC again. :)

I just love reading and not love stories, but books and articles that tickle my brains and give me a lot to think about….. keep my brains busy and active, learn and find out things that I dont know….. and thats why the Kindle will come in handy, and to relax an nice book written by Wilbur Smith or Clive Cussler – perfect way to use a free Kindle!!

    I live in a family of six with only one working parent. Having the means to supply for basic living needs doesn’t really leave us with the opportunity to get fancy gadgets like this and I think it would be nice to have. The library’s too far and with a big family of readers, the amount of gas it takes to get there and back takes a lot out of the paycheck so being able to just download and read at home would take a lot of stress out of our hands and help us save a lot of money for other things.
