In the past few days most of us faced large stormy situations. The biggest storm Sandy, came to US and Canada. Another storm named Neelam passed us (Sri Lanka) and went to India. The global weather is changing very rapidly and I think its time to keep an eye on the weather before you plan.
Stormcloud is a cool little app that can help you to stay up-to-date about the weather. Unlike many other apps we see on Linux, Stormcloud is very elegant in design. Simple and easy to use. When launched, it will stay in your desktop as a widget. You can click on the cog-wheel and change the settings. You can set your location, the units used, and the color of the app. Also you can donate to the developers if you like it.
As I said earlier, many apps we have in Linux doesn’t have such a quality. I think this is the start of the future Linux UI designs. I really like this small app. Very useful and cool looking. Want to try it?
