Ubuntu 12.10 is Released and Ready to Attack Windows 8! (Download Now)

Ubuntu 12.10

Canonical have just released the final stable version of Ubuntu 12.10 and its going against Windows 8 from the start! Windows 8 is scheduled to be released at the end of this month. But its going to do a huge change to the UI which some users refuse. Linux have managed to grab most of these un-happy users and the new Ubuntu 12.10′s main target is to complete the mission. “Avoid the pain of Windows 8“! I was really surprised to see this message in their home page!

Today they took more time than the previous releases. But finally it’s here. You can now safely download the latest ISO images from the Ubuntu website!
