Most probably, your readers will find an alternative. They can’t wait. That’s why we put a lot of money to make things faster in our sites. Make sure your reader can get what he wants in a flash.
Frequently update your blog…
Write frequently. Maintain a pattern. If you can’t write everyday, keep a pattern. Write one day and skip the other… Make sure you follow a predictable posting pattern so that your returning readers know exactly when to come back. Don’t let them leave just because you haven’t updated your blog.
Run some surveys and ask “What you want?”…
It’s a really good idea to run frequent surveys on your blog and ask the reader what they want. We did it several times and got really good results. You can give what they want if you ask them. So, go ahead and prepare a small survey. You’ll be able to learn what people think about your blog.
