Square Trade have just drop-tested an iPad and a Google‘s new Nexus 7 tablet! First they dropped both the tablets on ground… Then they let them fall from a bench… Finally, they dropped them in a bath tub! A bath tub with water!!!
From the first drop test, the Nexus 7 received only a small amount of scratches on the back cover and slightly damaged a corner. The iPad didn’t receive much damage on the back but its screen cracked!
In the next test, Nexus 7 survived with tiny scratches on the back. Nothing much to notice. But the iPad’s screen got damaged on a corner.
The last test… The water test! In this test they dropped both the tablets while playing a video. After the drop, the iPad is still working but the sounds are gone. Incredibly the Nexus 7 survived this test and worked even before the test! So, clearly the winner is the Nexus 7! The little guy won!
