Normally, a processor gets really hot. But until now, we never felt it. We never opened the case and touched the CPU. I have done that and trust me, If I did it while the system is switched on, I can burn my fingers!
Now, we have tablets and phones. Because they are very small, because things are closely packed, you can feel a little bit of this heat. Many people can feel their phones and tablets getting hot while in heavy use.
Now, Qualcomm have created a chip which generates a very little amount of heat compared to the others. Normally, people show this heat difference through boring old heat maps. Don’t we have something exiting? How about butter? Yes… Butter to test the heat!
