The New Chromebook

Google and Samsung have a successive business history. Google’s Chrome OS now emerging like, their android mobile OS. As a result of that, now Samsung have added another two electronic devices to their business plan. Chrome book Series 5 550 and Chrome-box.

If we look at the chrome-book series 5 550, specifications, its powered by an Intel core processor and has 4GB of memory. Now this device is 3 times faster than the older version (series 5) and it has faster boot time. Apart from that now it support hardware accelerated graphics.

If we look at its communication features, such as wire and wireless. This device enabled WI-FI (a/b/g/n/) and has an Ethernet port, 3G modem and 2USB 2.0 ports.

Samsung have developed higher multimedia capabilities into this device, it has a HD camera, 12.1 screens with 1280×800 resolution and support for HDMI, DVI and VGA outputs.

Most important thing is, its battery life, it can work for 6 hours.  So that, you can work longer, without any interruption. The new redesigned interface, user can easily find and launch apps and pin them for quick access.

In-addition to that they introduce a new chrome-box; it’s a small device which gives desktop experience. Actually it looks like a small system unit. You can connect this small box into any computer monitor with a keyboard and mouse, and use like a normal desktop computer. Chrome box doesn’t come with a keyboard and mouse, so that you have to buy them separately.

Chrome box, comes with the powerful Intel processor and 4GB of RAM. Apart from that it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 wireless capabilities, an Ethernet port and 6 USB 2.0 ports. It has HDMI, DVI, VGA display outputs for connecting to a monitor and DVI single link output.
