BitDefender’s Flamer Removal Tool Removes The Biggest Malware Threat

BitDefender's Flamer RemoverThese days, everyone talk about one big threat… The Flamer worm. According to the experts, it’s the most sophisticated malware they have ever found. It beats Stuxnet. Its capable of identifying the current anti-virus system and hide itself from it. Its intelligent!

The main target of this malware is unknown. But it’s clearly a spy tool. It can collect a lot of data from the machine, and send it to remote server via HTTPS. The worm also allows the attacker to control the whole machine.

It have developed new methods to spread itself through networks and USB drives so most of the anti-virus systems failed to detect it for a long time. Some suspect its been used since 2010. Some suspect its built by Israel targeting countries like Egypt and Iran. But one thing is for sure… It’s really hard to detect.

Currently, antivirus systems like BitDefender can detect some parts of it. I don’t think they still can deal with the whole thing. Kaspersky have also started working on it. Actually Kaspersky found it first!

Recently, BitDefender released a special tool designed only to detect and remove this Flamer worm. If you have BitDefender with the latest updates, you don’t need this. But for others, you can use this tool to detect and remove this pest. You can download it from BitDefender labs.

But remember, they still don’t have a full knowledge on the malware. So don’t think you are completely safe after running the scan. Malware keeps getting better everyday. Who knows, there can be deadlier threats lurking without being noticed. If flamer managed to hide itself for almost two years, its possible! I think we need to change how the antivirus systems work. We need sophisticated AI systems! Agree?
