My Unity 3

The 3rd version of our new Unity tweaker is out. My Unity 3.0 comes with a major redesign, a lot of new features and support for the upcoming Ubuntu 12.04. As soon as you start the app, you’ll notice that you can now change the color of Unity through it. But unfortunately, it will work only in Ubuntu 12.04. There are more new features which have been disabled like this. You need to wait till April to test them out.

Another big feature is the ability to change themes. Under themes section you can easily change a GTK theme and the Icon theme. Of-course you can’t change the Shell theme like in the Gnome Tweak tool cause we are dealing with Unity!

We saw My Unity on last November and now for these 3 months, they have already reached the 3rd version. A very active project and a very useful tool. It became so popular because Unity is hard to tweak. There’s no good settings panel. Recently we saw that Ubuntu is trying to let users customize Unity through their own appearance panel. But still its no match for My Unity. But for some people, even My Unity can’t make them use Unity!
