Advanced System Care 4
Already a fan of Advanced System Care? Then you might be looking forward to its next version since they release the first beta! Actually, the first beta showed some huge improvements and a load of new features which will change everything! So, did you checked those beta versions? Then you might have already started counting your fingers… But, today, the count down is over! IObit have just released the 4th version of Advanced System Care!
If you are one of our regular readers, you know perfectly that we have to take care of our PC if we want it to perform well. Clean the junk, repair the system, tweak the system, defragment the disks, repair the registry… To maintain the original speed and the stability of your system, you must perform these tasks regularly! Normally, we have thousands of small apps which will help us to do each of these tasks. But Advanced System Care is a collection of all these apps! It’s a single control panel to take care of your whole PC!
In ASC 3, we had some security features like cookie scanning, vulnerability scanning, etc. The new ASC will not only scan cookies, it will also scan for malware, spyware and adware. It also have improved passive defense scan which will tweak your system to block any possible holes which will allow malware to crawl into your machine.
In the one click scan, the other new features which I can see are the Short cut fix, Disk scan and the Vulnerability scan. Earlier, we had only one click scan option called “Care”. ASC 4 have two options. Deep Care and Quick Care. The Quick Care have only a small number of scans which we can run in a daily basis. The Deep Care contains all the scans which will take some time to complete. You can set both of these scans to auto scan and repair or even shutdown the machine when its complete!

Now think that you need to get a temporary boost… Think that you are going to use a very heavy software, you are going to render the final output of a movie or you are going to play a game… Then you’ll need a huge amount of free resources. Well, ASC 4 ‘s Turbo Boost feature will help you in this situation. It will temporarily disable some of the unnecessary background processes and services to free some of your resources and then restore everything when you are done!
Remember the IObit ToolBox which contained a lot of tweaks and tools to manually maintain your system? Well, ASC 4 now comes with the ToolBox built-in. So, it will give you many new features which you can’t see in the normal scans. For example, IObit Uninstaller (Remove programs without a trace), File Shredder, Startup Manager, Registry Defrag, Win Fix (Tweak the system), Security hole scanner, Driver Manager (Update out of date drivers), etc.

Thesedays, everyone have started to use Windows Gadgets to give easy access to their program’s features. Now everyone have copied it. But, IObit have done something different. When you install ASC 4, you’ll see a small widget at the top of your desktop. This is not a windows gadget! It’s a small monitor to show the usage of your system resources. If your system is using too many resources, the icon will change and it will tell you what to do!
