Now what is more important is to secure your hard work and get the benefits for the whole life. Of course you should care about your hard work because this is your asset. In business assets are the main resources that help in the promotion of the business. If blogging is business for you then you must follow the following tips to secure your blog assets.
1. Content
The most important and key asset of a blog is the content. Make sure to secure your content and keep eye on all your work. Use copyscape.com to check, if your content has been copied or not. Don’t allow anyone to publish your content without your permission.
2. Plugin Installation
No doubt that wordpress is the best Content Management System and plugin installation has made it more simple to blog and blog. However don’t install third party plugins or untrusted plugins. First search about the plugin and then try to install it. Untrusted plugin can hurt your blog ranking + it can also cause any coding problem.
3. Web Hosting Security
Always remember that it is the web host which saves your blog content and all other data. Your first priority is to make sure that your web host is secured by all mean. I wrote a blog post about how to prevent hacker attacks. Don’t forget to read and secure your hard work.
4. Guest Posting
If you are accepting guest posts, then make sure that the article is unique and it has never been published anywhere. Duplicate penalty will hurt your blog ranking and you will than lose your blog popularity. Be sure to search every word and sentence in google to know it is unique or not.
5. Comments
Don’t ignore the comment area. Some time you will get duplicate comments and that will also hurt your blog ranking. So make sure to approve only those comments which are unique and there is no bad links in the comment.
